Player Bunkers
Hey everyone, today we're showcasing bunkers!
What are Bunkers?
On Rove, you need a place to stash all your loot. You need a place to call home. You need a place to defend from other hostile survivors. This is where bunkers come in. You can place your bunker anywhere on the map after completing a few basic tasks. You can then enter your bunker through an armored bunker hatch.

Co-op
You can optionally choose to share your bunker with team members or allow your whole Gang to access your bunker.
Upkeep
To maintain the integrity of your bunker hatch, you'll need to keep your tool cupboard stocked with materials. If you leave this empty for days, your bunker will start to decay and be completely vulnerable to raids. After a week it will decay completely and you will need to start over. Upkeep is very cheap and can be farmed in a few minutes of playtime.
Bunker Dropbox
On Rove, you can sell and trade items at the Outpost safe zone. If you don't feel like traveling all the way there and risking your gear, you can use the Bunker Dropbox attached to your bunker to sell directly to Outpost. Scavengers take your items to Outpost, for a decent fee. Selling through your drop box is slower and less rewarding than selling at Outpost directly to traders, but it's definitely 100% safer!

Repair Bench
You can repair weapons, gear, and tools at your bunker's Repair Bench for raw materials and gold.

Research Table
Some advanced crafting recipes on Rove require Blueprints. You can only find blueprints from looting in high tier loot zones. Blueprints can only be learned at the Research Table in your bunker.

Bunker Workbench
After learning a blueprint for an advanced crafting recipe, you can craft it at your bunker's workbench. You can also make upgrades to your bunker here. Reinforce your bunker hatch, add raid alarms, install shotgun traps, etc.

Raiding
Bunkers are able to be raided by other survivors. Offline raiding is allowed. However, when raiding a bunker you will only be able to obtain a portion (50%) of the loot from that bunker's storage vault. To prevent camping, once a raid is started, raiders will need to finish in a certain amount of time, otherwise they'll be kicked out.
- Newer players will have a grace period where they are unable to be raided.
- You cannot re-raid the same bunker immediately after it's been raided.
Progress Update
We are currently sitting at 78% complete for the Rove. We were at around ~92% about a week ago but due to some setbacks this number has dropped a bit. Don't worry though because we still expect to have our closed alpha playtests next month. If anything changes, an announcement will be made. We are taking this extra time to ensure we deliver the level of quality we set out to achieve when we started this project.
Thanks for reading!
